"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Windermere Marina for all the fantastic work and new facilities they have provided for us at the Marina. The new jetties and shower block are an absolute delight to use and enjoy. I feel very lucky to have our boat moored at the Marina and able to benefit from such a class leading standard  – it’s definitely my ‘happy place’."

- Tony, Super Air Nautique GS22, Mooring Holder since 2021.

"I couldn’t be happier with my new berth at WMV. The pristine new floating pontoons offer worry free berthing whatever the weather, they’re super wide and make landing my new boat a doddle. The showering facilities are fantastic with roomy brand new facilities, hair dryers and lots of changing space, to scrub up for dinner after a day in the lake. Absolutely 5 star - by far the best marina on the lake."

- Debs, Jeanneau Merry Fisher 695, Mooring Holder since 2023.

"The Marina is looking so good, love the way boats are put together in similar sizes. What we love since getting a mooring a year ago is the camaraderie amongst boaters. Dan and his staff are always the first to offer help, advice and their services are always with a friendly attitude. It is such a peaceful, respectful and relaxing Marina to sit, have a drink and watch the sunset. The new restrooms and facilities are super, clean and great work done on them."

- Stacey & Patrick, Rodman 31, Mooring Holders since 2021.

"I have had boats for over 30 years and this is the best marina I have stayed in. I stayed here years ago and the changes that have been made recently are amazing!"

- Neil, Bates Starcraft, Mooring Holder since 2023.

"Having had a berth over the last 10 years, the pleasure has increased due to the recent transformation of both the pontoons and toilet/shower block. The new investments are of excellent quality and give improved easy access to the boats no matter what the lake level is. This has improved safety for both berth holders and marina staff, especially when high water levels are experienced. It has eliminated the need and concern for mooring line adjustments. Although there is one further stage to complete, I congratulate the management and contractors for the work well done to date, thank you."

- Michael, Haines 320, Mooring Holder since 2013.

"I have been a mooring holder and boat enthusiast on Windermere for many years. We chose Windermere Marina Village for its position, quality of facilities (including accommodation) and ambience. Those qualities have only improved over the last 21 years I have been a customer, especially with the new floating jetties and accommodation. WMV has given both myself and my family many great holidays and memorable times. I would unreservedly recommend it to anyone."

- David, Beneteau Oceanis 35.1, Mooring Holder since 2001.

"Windermere marina is ideally located within walking distance of Bowness which has a large variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. Having had extensive re-investment over the winter of 2022/ 23 it now has new floating jetties with individual power and internet plug in points and plenty of fresh water taps, at the same time the shower-block was also refurbished to a very high standard.”

- Justin, Birchwood 330, Mooring Holder since 2021.
